This past week, the HOPE team had our first in-person staff retreat! We treasured the opportunity to come together, discuss our work, and even have the chance to meet some of our newest staff members face-to-face. Join us in welcoming these wonderful additions to HOPE!
Isabella Pagnozzi, MSM –
Isabella started with HOPE in June as an administrative assistant. She received her Master’s degree in Business Management, focusing on project management, and her Bachelor’s in Business Administration, focusing on healthcare administration.
Laura Gallant, MSW –
Laura started in July as a research assistant. She graduated from Boston University in May 2020 with a Masters in Social Work focusing on program and policy development and organizational change. Before starting with the HOPE team, she worked at Harvard Medical School in the Center for Bioethics.
Allison Stephens, MEd, PhD –
Allison started in August as a program manager for the HOPE team. Allison recently received her PhD in Biomedical Informatics from Rutgers University. Before joining the HOPE team, Allison worked at Nevada PEP (Parents Empowering Parents) as the Statewide Family Network Director working with families of children with mental health needs.
Sitting at a table together for the first time, we had the opportunity to discuss the future of HOPE and all the amazing opportunities ahead of us. We reflected on how HOPE has grown since its development in 2019 to become an influential framework for providers, parents, and caregivers, and how this growth will inform our steps moving forward through the development of new projects and trainings. We also spent time as a team acknowledging the importance of continuous internal growth, learning, and striving toward health equity. Finally, we reaffirmed our commitment to ensure that children of all races and economic strata have equitable access to the four building blocks of HOPE.
We feel grateful for this time we had together to dream, plan, reflect, and learn. We have amazing things planned with our new increased staff capacity, and we can’t wait to share them with you all!
