Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System Survey Data Analysis
The HOPE team is working alongside the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to analyze Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) survey data from four states: Kansas (2020), Montana (2019), South Carolina (2020) and Wisconsin (2015). We plan to publish manuscripts describing the prevalence of positive childhood experiences, the effects of positive childhood experiences on adult health outcomes and the capacity for adverse childhood experiences to diminish the effects of positive experiences.
Project Dates: September 1, 2022 – February 1, 2024
