Laura Gallant is a research associate at the HOPE National Resource Center in the Center for Community-Engaged Medicine. She manages the HOPE blog, creates content for the HOPE monthly newsletter and works on several research projects. Laura received her Masters of Social Work in 2020 from Boston University School of Social Work. There she studied macro social work specifically focusing on policy analysis, development and, advocacy. She is passionate about equitable systems changes both within governmental programs and policies as well as within organizational structures. Before starting at HOPE Laura worked as a communications assistant at Harvard Medical School where she designed graphics, published newsletters and coordinated seven monthly events. In her free time Laura loves to theorize about the latest Marvel movie, practice yoga, and play Dungeons and Dragons with her friends.
